door bolt installation

I want to install a door bolt on one of my doors. I was thinking to use the heavy duty door bolt

The gap in the door frame is too small for the bolt catch. Anyone got any suggestions. I have attached the picture of my door and the frame. Please advise

what tools would i require to do that? can you point me on some youtube video which can guide me to cut recess in the door architrave
