Door slamming because of latch!

Hello
My housemate is not able to close the door using the handle.
So it closes with a loud slam as they are heavy doors.
I found this video for silent doors on YouTube but can't find the product for silent latches...please help I'm about to loose the plot about those doors slamming all the time.

Doors will make a noise if slammed regardless of the latching action,[wood against wood] you need a door closer fitted with control on the latching action.
Or aversion therapy, give him a slap every time he slams the door.
