Any advice on how to neaten up these 2 thresholds?

The rest of the room is as below. Large pine skirting on the plastered parts of the wall and nothing on the brick parts:

That's a big drop in the first photo, it may be worth asking a carpenter to make something out of a waste piece of oak.

Around the brick buttress, you can buy flat oak bead that would frame the brick nicely.

if i was making this as said a bit off oak about 95-120 wide
the front would be say 12-18mm thick with a bull nose
it would slope at around 8-15 degrees
the back would have 2 steps first from stone to the floor in the doorway with a flat to secure to the floor
the back would have a say 10x10mm rebate for the floor with about 8mm lip over the floor it would be an in your face colour so you become aware off the difference
