Door Window Pane

Im looking to get the glass obsecured in the door window pane. Is it better to get the glass changed for sandblasted glass or to get one of those films that you can just stick on

Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated

I have a couple of clear, small side windows which can be overlooked, whereas none of the main windows are. I hated drawing curtains, so added a patterned clear film to those two windows about five years ago. It doesn't make much difference to the amount of light, but offers round the clock privacy. It was a matter of wetting the window with water plus a tiny drop of washing up liquid, sliding it into place, trimming it then wiping the bubbles out.
