French Door Security

Hi there,

I've got french doors with single paned glass & I was wondering whether there is any simple way to improve the security of the door .As it's only a single pane a burgular could break the glass pane & simply walk through the door!

The doors are similar to the one at the link below, but are around 20 years old Is there any security film you could put over to strengthen the glass?

yes there is a security/safety film you can install.

or just get a bloody big gsd/rottie to solve your problem.

my mate has french doors (upvc dbl glazed) and last christmas he still got robbed with a spade from the garden straight through both panes of toughened glass. lami is better, or a big dog yes!
