Hi

Please excuse my ignorance about the correct way of describing this

I have attached an image of the area I want to paint

I'm painting a "doorway" in a Georgian terrace, I want to paint the whole "doorway": the frame, the bit at the side where the letterboxes are and the stone bit that frames these parts - its got the intercom box on it. I'll paint the actual door later (black) but for now its the areas around it.

The front of the house is painted in a cream colour, although its about ten years old now and doesnt look good. The other doorways in the street are all white with brightly coloured doors.

My questions are, what white do I paint it, pure brilliant white seems like it might be a bit too bright and bluey, and what sort of paint should I use considering some of the doorway is stone and some wood?

Any advice gratefully received

Buy white Vs brilliant white. Trade centres have it.
Benjamin Moore have 7 different whites in range..
White is a colour

Aura Exterior can be used on both wood and masonry if that's what your asked.
Available in 7 different whites. Chantilly lace is equivalent to UK brilliant white so avoid that one..

I don't think other countries have brilliant white by name? They have names for different shades of white.
