Dot and dab window reveals

Hey,

A guy came round to dot and dab a bedroom and I noticed that the internal window reveals are uneven (one is 11mm larger although they were even before). He said he has squared the room, there are no angle beads on yet and that's normal.

I'd like some other opinions. Is this normal? Should I pull the boards off, knock the dabbing off and try someone else?

If it looks ok , double up on the Board that is less , ie add a 12mm strip then when dried top coat it ?
