Hey,
I'm finishing a job I started years ago and I have a little bit of plastering I need to do, including sticking up a bit of plasterboard (~300x700mm above a door).

I have ready mixed jointing compound and ready mixed plaster because I'm doing small jobs, but hadn't considered I'd need adhesive. Is it possible/adequate to stick plasterboard on with plaster or jointing compound?

I also have general purpose builders foam. I know there are products on the market that look like builders foam and can be used for sticking plasterboards up dot and dab style. Can I use general purpose foam?

Thanks,
