Awful question I know but will plasterboarded adhesive stick wood to the underside of a concrete lintel?

I am asking as I do not want to drill into a lintel to hang blinds as they are rather hard. Since I an dry lining, I have the opportunity to put a bit of wood up there and drill into that instead. Trouble is I need to fix that too. I was wondering whether this adhesive would work????? I would then 'prop' up the edges of the wood with the plaster boards that form the side reveals.

Will this work?

Thanks

sorry but you will need your drill for this one, if you stick it then it will eventually fall off.

buy a good drill bit and you shouldnt have a problem drilling through the steel.
