Double Glazing

Hi,

Looking for some advice on upgrading from single to double glazing.

The house has single wooden framed windows and lots of condensation. Would new double glazing with air vents help reduce the condensation?

I have found a local company in middlesbrough offering to do our house for £1900 so just want some unbiased advice.

It should improve things by raising the temperature of the internal glass and frames but there are no guarantees.
