Hi guys!

1. A year ago I did Dryzone course, and then I used waterproofer sand and cement, then after 2 weeks after 2 coats of plaster.

2. The same time I installed a garden door in my living room, so dpc has not been done under the door.
It was too low to use dryzone.

2 very important questions for you:

I. The gap from inside was left due to manufacturer recommendation. Approx. 5-7cm.

As Im planning to lay laminate flooring only (ground floor) and I would like to have only flooring scotia, not skirting boards.

What should I use to fill this gap?

II. After installing a new window with a garden door I have some bricks just above floor level, but below my door (I hope it does make sense for you! )
Because is p*ssing nearly everyday now I've notice that those bricks get damp plus stinks awfuly.

I have a barrel of DPM in liquid. Shall I apply it on those bricks to stop them getting damp and smelly?

Any advices will be very welcomed.

Regards
