Hi guys, hope somebody can help me. i am a landscaper and carry out a lot of brickwork which is not a problem but i have decided to build my own porch, the problem i have is that i want to put in a concrete floor and my existing house floor is timber with air bricks along the face i want to build the floor against. how do i merge the two,

1. Do i just wrap the concrete in visquine and feed the air brick with a pipe?

2. Is there a better way?

Thanks for any advice.
Alan. :?

Yes, just extend with underground drainage pipe from the ex-air vent to the new position. Use hardcore or rejects around it, soft or pit sand on top to protect the dpm then dpm with concrete then finish off with floor screed of sharp sand + cement.

Thanks for the prompt reply no doubt i will have a few more questions yet.

once again thanks Alan D.
