Dpm for retaining wall

Hi all

building a 1m high retaining wall with perforated draining in the back with geo textile fabric against the soil before putting clean gravel down.

do I need to add a Dpm against the rear wall face? It’s been constructed in 100mm concrete block laid flat (215mm) with an additional skin of reclaimed bricks

We painted the rear face of ours in bitumen paint and sandwiched gravel with geo fabric. The visible face has stayed very dry.

That’s great. I don’t have enough space to get behind and paint it, currently 10 blocks laid flat, approx 1m.

some of it needs digging again to get a 4” land drain between
