Hi guys,
First time so be nice
I'm renovating my bathroom and have moved the toilet which required me to rip up part of the floor. Since it's a victorian house there's no DPM:
My question is this:
Should I rip up the remaining concrete, lay a DPM then a new floor (costly) or fill in the bits that I ripped up and damp proof on the concrete (cheap)? I know building regs state that DPM should be put on before the concrete but this'll be about £1600 to do. Is there anything wrong with laying DPM on top of concrete?
