Drainage cock ups that I see at work

I had 2 good ones this week. First one a guy cut a hole in the SVP above the washing machine connection, then jetted for a hour to unblock a collapsed rest bend that would have took 10 minutes to dig up.

The result was a family in a hotel for a couple of weeks (so far) while the house is dried out and new kitchen/floor coverings sorted out.

The second one, different guy, managed to screw off an access cap then drill a hole in the removable bung :LOL::LOL:

Would these be the result of a visit by someone from one of these Emergency Cover schemes by any chance?

Day 2. How to upsell a very expensive job that we could have done in 5 minutes with a couple of rods.
 
Few more this week, today’s was a good one. Gas pipe moled through 2 drains, the first one the gas people made a shocking repair, slit a piece of plastic and stuck it in the broken clay

Another at a different house was a professional repair with a butter tub lid and some concrete
