Drainage quotes am I paying to much?

Poster #33. On occasion, you do offer sound advice. Sometimes you come across as being extremely opinionated and your advice is flawed. What gives?
He has actually been banned from the site but continues with his obnoxious posts.

Poster # 32,
Poster #26 claimed the buyers "solicitors didn't care" - are you saying that the "no one cared" included your buyers solicitors not caring either?
If so, suddenly we have solicitors who dont care to protect their clients or their Legal Practices - why? Because they just dont care.
Well beyond the enforcement date the solicitors and whoever signed the declaration form could lead them to financial penalties or even criminal penalties - the solicitors could lose their right to practice.
Go on, I'll respond even though I probably shouldn't encourage.

I don't know what they did or didn't do. I just knew I was honest and nobody complained.

I'd guess that they told their client that a couple of boxes hadn't been ticked, it's fairly normal but they can decide whether they think it's an issue. This is how normal people behave... intelligently. It's what the real world looks like, people have brains and judgement.

Poster 39,
I know its late in the evening but please take time off from your digging hobby to read the kindly meant below:

Its standard practice for the buyer's solicitors to provide the buyer with a copy of the Declaration form.

On Friday your understanding was that "the buyer's solicitors didn't care" - today you altered your claim to "you dont know what they did or didn't do"?
Today you also claimed that only "a couple of boxes hadn't been ticked" whereas the itemisation on Friday was far more than "a couple of boxes" that had not been ticked?
Perhaps the RICS and the mortgage co. didn't care either?

Its common knowledge in the world of ordinary people that when one is losing an argument, and one attacks the man instead of the facts then the argument is truly lost.
I'd like £1 for every time he's said that - ad hominem ad nauseam

I just read it as inadvertently revealing self-description!

Nobody had attacked anyone anyway, we all just said the argument being made was nonsense.
