Familiar problem but I can't find the answer after searching the forum.

Hotpoint Aquarius WD420 washer/dryer. Started spin cycle while partially filled and flooded out through the drawer. I did the usual of detaching outer drum/pump hose and pump/drain hose - no blockages. Filled and selected pump-out with hose in a bucket - good strong flow. The problem appears to be the pump only runs for 42 secs instead of the 2 mins required. If I keep selecting pump out it will run for 42 secs a throw until it is finally drained. Everything works fine except the 42 sec pump run.

It's an electronic programmer on this so there isn't much to look at.

Anyone any thoughts?

Machine is about 2 years old. I don't have a receipt as it was in the house when I bought it so I think I would have difficulty with the 5 year parts warranty gig.

Thanks.
