Hi all,
We have 7 single glazed timber sash windows in our Victorian era property which are proving to be rather draughty. Some of the windows are also in need of light repairs, for example: mechanisms painted over, pullies missing, unable to open, soft wood etc.
We got a quote of ~£3000 to draught proof and restore the windows. I wondered if anyone has prior experience with draught proofing sash windows or could provide a second opinion on the quoted amount?
