But what would they be controlling and how.
It's only a simple on/off switch, both stats would be telling the receiver to do the same work.
If you had 2 MVs for example both would open or close both, so 1 stat could be trying to close it and the other stat trying to opening it.

Both stats will switch the same receiver. Ive done it before when re-pairing 3 stats to separate receivers.
Yes PP but they can't both work together controlling a common, as they would conflict with each other
Cant see the point as already said, if there is only one scr unit which ever stat brings on the heating the whole zone will heat up till one of the stats turns it off ? or have I missed something
That's what I expected but did not know if the transmitter units repeated the instruction every 15 mins or so.
I am surprised that no one was very sure so have checked what they do myself.
The sending unit repeats the instruction on a change THREE times at about a second or two interval.
So the receiver will respond to the LAST instruction that it received from any transmitter!
The purpose of my question was because I was wondering if there was a way to let two lodgers control heating separately from their rooms. Mostly interested in turning it on.
