i ahev purchased an lp522 si,

i have now found out that the si stands for service intervals and will require a toll to reset it after 1 years use ?

having looked on the net teh tools are around 60 gbp,

is there another way to reset as its not worth buying the toll when i can replace the whole unit cheaper

that's odd, what made you buy it?

It says:
"Drayton LPSi is the control to help landlords comply with R36, Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations 1998. With all the features of Drayton's market leading LP time controls, the LPSi alerts householders when their boiler service is due. If the service is missed the LPSi reduces comfort levels until the boiler is serviced and the unit reset."
