Replaced a couple of old Landis & Staefa RAD1.N room thermostats on Sunday evening with Drayton RTS1s.

The L&S only had the earth, neutral and live connected, not the, erm, third blue wire.

So connected the Drayton RTS1s in the same way (i.e. without the blue wire as don't know whether this is connected or not..).

The RTS1 clicked on at about 21 degrees going up and off at about 22 degrees going down. Seemed to be working OK last night.

However, this morning, radiators pretty cold in most places and now almost freezing.

Boiler pilot is fine and going and hot water in the taps.

Central Heating on the programmable thermostat is on. We have an old Potterton Kingfisher CF120 mk2, and grundfoss pump with motorized honeywell valves, one for each thermostat and one for hot water....

The thermostat is still clicking at about 21 degrees even though the house is now a lot colder.
Any ideas? :)

Well.. there you go.. The Landis & Staefa RAD1.N is a two wire model whereas the Drayton RTS1 is a three wire.

The RAD1.N has live in and live out.... time to get another thermostat...

Thanks
