If it's a latex paint, then nail polish remover should take it out without harming the fabric.
Note, that some woven materials, like touques and mitts will be made of acrylic fiber. As latex paints are most often made from exactly the same plastic, any solvent that dissolves the paint will also dissolve acrylic fabric.
So, test in an inconspicuous spot first, but unless the fabric is acrylic, nail polish remove (the regular kind, not the solvent free stuff) should remove the latex paint without harming the fabric.
