Hi,

I need to drill tap holes in a new bath, normal position. What is the best way to do this? I have a holesaw set from Screwfix, will this be OK?

Cheers

Left yourself wide open did not know you got cast iron hole saws . but seriously if bath is cast use hole saw with cutting compound and wear gloves and safety specs . And measure twice cut once.

What is the best thing to use on cast iron?

Wouldn't it just shatter? John D I accidentally added you to my ignore list, however I've corrected my mistake, I do apologise :D

Cast Iron is relatively soft. Paraffin or white sprit will do as a cutting fluid. Go slowly. The enamel's the worst bit, easy after that.
