Hi, I need to install some air vents in a cellar. However the internal supporting wall is 19" thick, I'm assuming so will be the outer walls.

What would be the best way of drilling though this wall? Would a core drill do the job?

Assuming its normal brick, I would have thought core drill, and take it slowly, knocking/taking out the bricks as you go? Might need an extension bar...

Is this a brick or stone structure?

19" seems pretty thick for an internal wall.
