Would anyone have any tips as to how I can stop the slow, but perpetual dripping from a cap on an access elbow recently opened for rodding?. I have tried fitting a new seal but it makes little difference.

Cheers for any advice.

If you've fitted a new seal correctly then can only be the cap isn't tight enough... I'd assume if the plastic was damaged it would have been noticeable.
I turned it as tight as possible wearing a pair of gauntlets. I will try to use a tool between the raised lines as shown here– perhaps this should have been obvious?

Polytetrafluoroethylene tape. (PTFE)
Good point. I will try the PTFE also.

Thanks, chaps.
:)
