I have a dripping bath/shower mixer tap, 2 images attached. I need to replace the cartridge(s), but as it's the only facility in the house, ideally I would like to have the replacement part before I start to dismantle it. I think it was fitted around 2010-2012 and it's a Nabis brand purchased from Plumb Centre. I would appreciate some help in finding the correct Nabis replacement cartridge or a generic one (if it's that simple).

Get the number off the cartridge and order.
Tap magician or other online retailer.

Pop caps I can see on tap handles. Allen key. Don't drop grub screw down plug hole

Given that they're Nabis/Plumb centre, it would make sense surely to try Wolseley (formerly Plumb Centre)

Hi Wayners, I have removed the cap. Inside, there is a very small hole/opening towards the back. Are you sure that is allen key, I doubt I have one that size, I will need to purchase. Will I have to remove the existing cartridge to get the part number? Ideally, I would rather have the replacement before I start to dismantle things.

I don't know what will fit grub screw as they differ. Might be a screwdriver fitting so you need to look inside with a torch.

Unfortunately you need to get cartridge out for the number.
If there is no number you will need to follow the identification guide on tap magician website or send a photo of cartridge to them.

Also sometimes the insert falls apart when you remove it as it's made of ceramic. That shatters.

Unfortunately you are unlikely to find a matching insert locally as so many different types and sizes

It doesn't look like a screwdriver fitting. probably allen key, but very small.

Wolsey have suggested that I purchase the cartridge that fits this current model https://www.wolseley.co.uk/product/...ceramic-disc-shower-hose-handset-and-bracket/
Whilst the unit is similar it's not identical, they are not guaranteeing backwards compatibility, but saying it's the only Nabis replacement cartridge available that they are aware of?

If I were to buy the complete unit above (for £153):
- how likely is it to fit the existing holes in the bath, is there an industry standard or technical measurement I can look for? Presumably the outside width is a good guide as the taps are near each end.
- how likely is the existing pipework to be a compatible fitting? I will have to remove the bath panel over the weekend and see what's there.

Up to you.
I like the fix things and I certain you will get a replacement cartridge when you identify which one.
Just might not have a tap for a couple of days while you wait for delivery
