Hi,

I need to lower my bathroom ceiling to hide some ugly pipes and also to allow me space to move the lights about. Its made from concrete so can't easily chase new wiring...

The questions -

Anyone know an easy way to do it?

Secondly, I've looked into using Gypsum CasoLine GRID. If I did this could I use normal plaster board or would it have to be aquaboard? Could I just paint the (normal) plasterboard in something to make it suitable for the bathroom?

hope i can help, i did the same thing in my bathroom to put sopt lights in becuase i have a ground floor flat, i put battens across each side and throught the middle and attached the normal plasterboard to it and filled and sanded the join and it came out fine, whether its the correct way but its fine for me and very cheap
