Dropping a phone down the bog....

A friend of mine did this, now incoming calls are ****, no outgoing calls, and it looks like there is a burn mark (skid mark) on the SIM card...

The phone was dried out using a hair dryer..oops!

And now doesn't make outgoing calls, the keypad is ineffective, and the simcard looks to have burning marks on it? (Curry?)..

Is there any chance to get this phone working again? (all jokes aside),

After a lovely meal and drinking too much in a West End pub I started bringing it all back up in the bar on the way to the loo. Finish bringing up over the wc together with my dentures. Trying to think through the problem logically.......What should I do?. Flush or grab. I did it!

if he phones the SIM network operator they'll probably send him a new SIM with the same number and any credit carried over.

Carphone Whorehouse etc have refurb phones from a few quid.
