dropping pressure in my gas linea 24 boiler

Water only leaked out of the copper pipe in the boiler when the bung was on the outside pipe. The pressure was at 3 bar but the water ONLY started to leak once I have turned the heating off. since then, I put a clear plastic bag on outside pipe to see if water is constantly being blown off thru valve & it isn't. At most there is just a bit of steam.

Re: PRV.

I explained it wrong. I pumped in 1 bar air and then opened PRV & it let the air out. I didn't think it should have done this as I thought this was only to let water out. [/quote]

if i leave valve open it lets the air pressure that i pump in out.

valve?

sounds like the pressure vessel is bust to me

also does anyone have any ideas why the water pressure keeps dropping if theres no leaks anywere and water is not being blown off by safety valve?

sounds like the heat exchanger is leaking through to the domestic hot water side which in turn is just coming out of your hot tap.
