Drumming up private work in the evenings...

Hi all,

Just been relocated to a new area with my job (digs are in Sandhurst). I want to earn some extra wedge in the evenings, and was wondering what the best way is of picking up some small jobs. (plumbing / property maintenance).

Ads in local PO? Advert in local free rag? What are the "rate a tradesman" sites like? Worth the fee?

definately not worth the fee rated tradesmen is a total ripoff best bet get down the pub every night youll soon drum up some trade there.

Whatever jobs you do end up doing, get yourself some Public Liability Insurance BEFORE you start.
