I bought a dry lining box but it has no earth screw, but the chrome socket needs to be plugged to one, or is this for only metal back boxes?

Thanks, and if it does is there something i can use instead?

I don't see the issue here, just put the earths in the socket terminal as usual, and just happens to be no need to run a flylead to the box in this case, cos its plastic...

Excellent thanks, i wasn't 100% as i've read you must earth the back box if using a chrome socket.

sometimes they have them, just incase you dont have anywhere else to put the earth (i.e plastic lightswitch)
