Hi all, In 2009, we had all our roof tiles replaced due to natural wear and tear in our circa 1935s built home. As well as the roof tiles, we had the underlay changed too. We did have items in the loft at the time and therefore had some dirt and dust come into boxes (I am guessing this was dirt and dust that got in between the tiles over the years and sat in between the tiles and the underlay). I hoovered most I could during the time and cleaned up (as you would).
Now, many many years later, I have found some of this still lying around in boxes and in areas that weren't accessible. Having read about asbestos in roof tiles (I don't even know if it had any, as I wasn't aware at the time), I am now worried about cleaning and sweeping these up. I need to get rid of quite a lot of these boxes with items stored in them, so I don't know if I have my tin foil hat on and am worried over nothing or should I be worried about this? Thoughts please?
