My wife has for some reason decided that we should buy some dwarf fruit trees to put in pots in the back garden
Living in NE England, the weather isn't too goos and I'm not convinced fruit will grow very well
OK, apples and maybe pears would be OK
Bur surely, a cherry tree is a bit of a 'pipe dream'
Anyway to keep the peace, I'll just get them, but dwarf trees seem so much mre expensive
There are trees in the local supermarkets, at about £5
Surely, as long as you prune them OK, any fruit tree would be Ok for a pot.
Am I right, or would I really need to but dwarf trees ?
thanks for any advice you can offer
