I have a Dyson DC50. Was using it the other day and the red on/off button popped out along with a spring. Any ideas on where the spring goes? As you can see from the photos I think the spring goes inside the red button where I have added a green arrow (not sure if the spring is supposed to sit on the cross bit. If I sit it on the cross bit (indicated in fourth pic with green arrow) it doesn't seem to be aligned with anything. Is the spring supposed to hit the push down white bobble bit (also indicated with green arrow in third pic and then i found a pic on Youtube of it, it looks like it is some kind of arm lever that it atttached to the grey button ) or is it supposed to come into contact with the cog bit (pic of someone pointing to it with screwdriver. Also can replacement springs be bought as both the the one that sits in the red button has stretched as have the two black ones that sit inside the grey switch button service assembly. Thanks in advance. Also any ideas as to why the button would fly out anyway?
