Anyone know how much this stuff weights per square metre as I lugged
a 36m2 metre piece up the ladder this afternoon and it nearly took me out!!!!! Seriously I'd like to know for future reference.

RS components say the density of EPDM is 1.13g/cm³, so per square metre of 1.2mm thick is...

100cm * 100cm * 0.12cm= 1200cm³

so...

1200 * 1.13 = 1356g/m²

Your sheet was therefore 48.8 kg, or 7 stone 10-ish.

Not particularly heavy then just very unwieldy and difficult to get my arm round. Thanks rsgas.

Back in my fitting days I managed to lug an 8m by 6m up one storey and my piles have never been the same since.
