Hi,

I am running some network cables next to live electrical cables and have been told that the best way to do this is to put them in some steel conduit to reduce interference. The conduit has to be earthed so im told... what size earth would it need and can it come direct from the main consumer unit?

Thanks

it will probably be cheaper to get screened network cable.... min seperation of 150mm and if you have to cross the mains, do it at rightangles..
