earth wires in 2 gang switch box

needed to replace front of socket. Old was not switched. New front I have bought is swithched.
Holes for wires in seams straightforward except for the fact there are 2 earth holes - but only one earth wire in old box? what do I do?

If you look at the 2 x earth termination points they should be linked with a flat strap built on the socket, so the 2 x earth points are linked and if you only have 1 x earth cable (AND 1 x TE cable) then terminate it in the earth terminal that gives best cable positioning.

Do you know where it comes from?

Is the back box metal?
