True about the clipping, i am sure the 'pig tail' is too tight and contreveins something.

The 2 earth tags and the wire must have cost more than popping to the local DIY shed and buying the £2.50 proper screw on hose fitting. And I bet it still leaks!

1. where do you see a second earth clamp? I don't...
2. it doesn't cost anything if the firm he works for supplies them and he's got one in his tool box.. not even the money to drive to the DIY store..
3. he's probably a plumber as I think I see PTFE tape round the hose where he's wedged it in.. so it might not leak as bad as you think..
 
Or just some gaffer tape.

If it's a garage, maybe the red stuff on the wall is Hermetite...
 
Dont Worry everyone. The safety Do not remove label is not fitted
so I guess its o.k. if the cable is not connected then ! ;)
 
Can you get red hemetite? I thought it was only blue hermetite that you could get, learn something new every day.
 
It was in a former garage now trading as a hand carwash place.

It did leak for fun. You can even see a drip in the photo.
 
might even be overspray from a can of red oxide primer.. or brush flick from red lead..
