I have sunk a 4ft copper coated earthing rod, how do I test to see if I am getting a good conenction

I have overhead supply so only have live and neutral coming into property. Electricty people require this silly 4ft rod connected via 16mm earth cable to consumer unit. Similarly bond water and gas pipes with min. 10mm wire but I use 16mm alround. (There is a pme arangement available by electricity people where your earth is connected to neutral at supply entry).
There are proper testers to measure ground resistance. However I just connected live to rod measuring current and it was 200 ohms in my sandy soil. So at normal maximum allowed 50V earth voltage current would be 250mA. So for safety I needed a ELCB of about 100mA. Note actual earth resistance of buried gas and water pipes was a few ohms showing the advantage of a spread earth connection.

The thesis is about earthing, i need a very good heading, i already have the materials but I have a problem with a proper heading can u help with a topic heading?
