Hi, I'm working on a project investigating options for short (ish) term repairs to cracking on external concrete panels of Laing Easi-form PRC style, non-traditional houses. (Lets say 3 bed terrace). Weather proofing more than structural.
Of the several options of concrete repairs available, one am investigating would be to hack out the worst patches of concrete then re-render over the whole front/back side of the house and re-painting.
Where there would be structural issues, this option wouldn't be considered - only the lesser ones. Would rendering over even be an option? I get the feeling the even the lesser damaged ones, the concrete would just continue to expand and crack the render 6 months later anyway?
Cheers.
