I feel like I want to modernise my upstairs balustrade and I want to replace it with glass

I am very handy with DIY so I’ll do it myself

Having never done it before, is it an easy enough job to do? Would you rip out the hole lot including end post and start again?

Having never really done stairs and floor before, will the bottom of the post screw into the joist? I can’t see it coming through the ceiling from below

That's what i done with mine but I left 95mm each end open, that way you can leave the newl post in place.

So did you connect the glass panels to newel post?

Do you have a pic of yours so I can see how it finished?

If so. Would I simply just need to order the glass panels and connector clips?
