I am currently getting building reg drawings done for a major house extension. I want the contractor to also 'power up my shed' whilst he is on site. The house is being partially rewired with this work with a new CU being fitted.

It will need a trench digging out it across the garden, swg cable laying, etc etc.. so from what I have read here that is notifiable work.

So the question is... Do I cover this work in my building reg drawings or is the 'shed power up' notice dealt with by the subcontracted electrician? ??

The building reg drawings I am currently have done obviously are only dealing with structural, drainage matters etc.

Told you it was an easy one....sorry to have to bring sheds into it.. :-)

Scott.
