Eco Hometec / MAN 31/36 Micromat Combi - No Hot Water

Hi folks, could someone offer advice on where to start with no hot water from the above boiler? CH works fine but when I run the hot water tap it fails to initiate any demand.

If the CH is on when I do this it diverts to the hot water top but if the CH isn't on then I get no hot water.....

Any help greatly appreciated, cheers Ben

Update, when I reset the boiler everything operates as normal (at least for a day or so), anyone any ideas?

If I manually operate the diverter valve it does send hot water to the tap as you'd expect but what should trigger the valve?
