I am sick to the back teeth of replacing the R80 spots in our kitchen. I've tried a number of different manufacturers and they all fail within a few months and with 6 in the ceiling that means replacing a bulb every other week. What is the most economic replacement for these old spots?

Thanks for the suggestion Chris, I'm guessing that I would have to rewire the existing with low voltage supply from a suitable transformer? I hoped not to have to replace the whole lot.

Perhaps they really mean "extra Low Voltage"

It is a little misleading! :?

It's a common mistake. Bit worrying when suppliers of electrical equipment don't know what they are talking about though.
