Hello,

I'm after some product advice if anyones able to suggest something.

I recently painted my hallway walls and stripped and stained my hallway floor, all looks very nice if I do say so myself. Problem I have, though not really a problem as such just something that nags at me, there a small gap between the floor and the skirting boards where dust gets caught and small paint dribbles are noticeable - possibly only me that notices them.

Is there any product out there I could use or is designed for this type of scenario, some kind of edging tape/filler?

Any ideas would be much appreciated!

Cheers

You need a caulking gun and a tube of decorators caulk. Any hardware shop will sell them. About £3 - 4 for the pair.

I'll go along with that, I take it that the skirting boards are painted white?
If you go along very carefully with decorators caulk, and have a damp cloth handy to wipe any excess off.
It might be an idea to do it thinnly, then when dry go it over again, build it up so it looks level against the floor.

I did this recently, and it does the job. :D
