Hi,

I have a small utillity room hidden away so not seen by wondering eyes.
It is currently painted in eggshell but i wanted to give a spruce up with some white emulsion i have left over.

I know you can't simply just paint over it but i am not too keen on all the sanding, it does not need to look perfecgt after finished.

Just wondering if anyone has any tips, can i PVA it and then paint?

thanks

If the walls are grubby/greasy, wash them first with detergent/sugar soap and rinse. Then paint them.

On no account use PVA under emulsion paint! (Next time you try to paint on top, it will all peel off).

Thanks guys.

So clean the walls and then straight on with the emulsion :D
