Elbow attachment to connect chrome pipe to plastic pipe

I'm going to get a chrome bottle trap and 'to-floor' pipe set for a bathroom basin as shown below.

The underfloor plastic pipe which it will attach to will meet it at right angles, so I'll need some sort of elbow attachment.

I think I recall reading somewhere that there can be issues with attaching chrome to plastic pipes, perhaps some sort of special elbow attachment is required? Could anyone clarify this?

This may help, but it is designed for European Pipe, you will need 35A-CB to connect to UK size pipe. If the joint is not going to be visible (ie under finished floor level) use a standard compression elbow.
