My bathroom is about 8 by 6 and is always cold-we have a rad in there but it's timed with the c/h.What size and type of heater would be the most efficient in a room that size? :?

If you have a hot-water cylinder that is heated by the boiler, it is possible to have the radiator reconfigured so that it comes on when the hot water is being heated. That means it will usually be on first thing in the morning, and whenever you have a bath, which is handy.

It is even possible to have it configured to come on both when the heating is on and also when the hot water is being heated. I've done mine like that. You need to have a TRV otherwise it will waste money in the summer; and to throttle back the lockshield so it does not steal flow from the rest of the house. It is fairly easy to install if (like mine) your airing cupboard with cylinder and pump are adjacent to the bathroom.

Thanks --i'll have to think about that out as my hot cyl is in the airing cupboard with the immersion heater and the pump is downstairs near the solid fuel fire which has a back boiler.

Is the electric valve (that sends hot water to the cylinder and/or the radiators) next to the bathroom? If not it would be more difficult.
