electric combi boiler query

Anyone got any information on electric combi boilers?

A plumber had a look at this recently and said all was ok with it, but there is a constant flow of cold water from the discharge pipe that appears to go to a drain via an air break.

The maker is Redring and its 5 or 6 years old.

I cant believe it's normal to lose this amount of water.

Electrician tested the system and fixed the fault

Was that one of those modern well trained plumbers you had in. Obviously in his eyes it was made like that. He hasn't even slept with a plumber.
My wee grandwean could tell you what was wrong! She is over tomorrow. If i remember i'll get her to answer your question
