Electric Fire and Sticky Tape !!

OK its not as bad as it sounds

I need to fit a second hand electric fire into a fire surround, the problem is originally the fire looked to have a sticky tape type material to secure it to the marble back plate but this now gone from being taken out.

Any sugestions to what I should use or where I may get some tape that is suitable for the job. The only thing I can find is a double sided tape to secure number plates.

fuji - consider using self-adhesive Velco tape or pads.

Double sided foam tape, very secure.
